The World Geothermal Congress (WGC) is the premier global geothermal event scheduled every three years and has the purpose to convene the leaders of industry, academia, finance sector, governments, NGO's and communities to collaborate and provide thoughtful solutions for a sustainable society. On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is our great pleasure to welcome you to Beijing, China to participate the 7th World Geothermal Congress.
We will hold a lovely evening so that all community members can greet each other.
A short speech will be given by the president of our honorable International Geothermal Organization (IGA).
The main lecture will be held by professor emeritus from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth: Ronald DiPippo.
Our community will show their most recent work in all areas related to geothermal energy, mainly geothermal exploration of hot dry rock systems.
To close the event, we will go on a expedition trip to do a shallow exploration over the Himalayan geothermal belt.
